To preface; I'm a competing freestyle and Greco-roman wrestler as well as coach. I purchased a diet plan from Mike a few months back in preparation for my upcoming competition. I wanted to fill out my weight class a little bit better so Mike helped me out with that. Most of it was just tweaking a couple things. However now as I'm approaching competition he changed up my diet completely. I used to feel like absolute shit when cutting but now I'm getting through three hour practices with ease. My lifts are still going up to my surprise as well. He thoroughly explained all the intricacies of my diet and answered any questions I had. I'm going to continue working with him and would recommend him to anyone.

Ok I am nearing the end of my eight weeks so it is time for a testimonial I suppose!
I started off in a terrible, badly equipped gym (I was living in a rural town in England, so that should give you an idea of how small it was), Mike gave me a program for the equipment I had access too, set me up with a diet and I got to work. He kept me motivated for the horrible weeks I was stuck in that gym, kept everything fresh and I didn't miss a single day.
I finally got to a proper gym, Mike adjusted my program, taught me what I needed to know about the new exercises I would be doing, and he's been there for me constantly, no matter what inane questions I have asked. (and there have been a lot of them) He is a very nice guy, sometimes I forget I'm talking to someone I am paying, rather than just a buddy about gym stuff!
Progress wise, in 6 weeks we've fixed the terrible form of my deadlift, and I've moved from 180lb to 300lb. He taught me how to squat, how to benchpress properly, everything I need to know to not look like an idiot.
I would reccomend him to anyone, and you have nothing to lose by just talking to him and seeing if he's the right choice for you!

Just wanted to stop in to give my stamp of approval to SPT. I am not exactly a beginner in terms of lifting and diet, but I still benefited from what SPT had to offer. Specifically I have gotten a ton of help regarding my bench and squat form, and I have seen improvements because of it.
Basically, don't think that just because you have spent time in the gym before and aren't a complete goony fatass that you can't get something positive from Swole Personal Training.

I wanted to give a testimonial so far. I have been working with Mike for several weeks. I fell off diet and exercise for a while and wanted to get back in to it with some new motivation. He really helped me out and wanted to see me succeed. I have tried a lot of different weight routines and I really like the one he gave me. It has really helped me gain a lot of strength and gives me a lot of confidence to success and beat my previous weeks numbers. Overall I really like my experience and would recommend him to others.

I have been working out under Mike's guidance for almost 16 weeks. During this time I have noticed great improvement in my physical strength and this has everything to do with the quality of my workout. I am not lying if I say I am in the best shape of my life.
For a person with just a few hours per-week for training, like it is in my case, it is very important to get the best from each visit to the gym, and that is exactly what he knows best.
Mike's personal attention to detail, from the powerful routine to the correct form for each of these exercises, has helped me to increase the efficiency of my training: more gains in the right amount of time I have available.
I now receive many compliments and people have definitely noticed my results. I've gone from being unsure of what to do to someone who gets asked for advice on training!
Besides this, his advice on nutrition, new exercises, and his experience shared though his web page, have complemented the hard workouts making the experience of working with him a great opportunity to learn and improve my physical skills.
In other words, if you put in the discipline and willingness to work, he will provide you the right orientation to get the best results from your workout, and that is for sure.

I was working for a short time in Chicago and I had the opportunity to train with Mike. He really put forth the effort to teach me rather than just tell me what to do. This approach will help you long after the program is finished, when you are on your own. The advice and coaching he gave me regarding technique, along with his motivational attitude, not only allowed me to hit a few PR’s in the gym, but I came away with loads of valuable knowledge that I still apply to my training to this day.
